Rituals reflect the values of societies or cultures. Henna for six months, which is a passage-entry ritual, is widely celebrated in the Thrace Region. It is thought that this rite, organized solely for celebrating the birth of a baby girl into a family, was brought to Turkey by Balkan immigrants. The research was carried out by the method of cultural analysis. The survey was conducted with 100 people in the region covering the provinces of Edirne, Tekirdağ and Kırklareli. The answer to the question “What does this ritual mean for people?” was sought through factual data. In this way, the change that this ritual, which emerged in the rural areas, has undergone while gaining prevalence towards urban areas was examined. In addition, expectations and predictions about its future were created.
